Info and Policies
**SPECIAL NOTICE**
The United States Postal System is no longer offering Surface (ground) shipping to Canada and overseas.
If an oil is marked NO AIR SHIPPING on the website then I can no longer ship these oils internationally through USPS.
I do apologize but I must stay within the legal shipping guidelines put down by USPS
I can however, ship them to you by Fed Ex.
The shipping is now added for International Fed Ex
A little about myself..... my name is Rhonda, I'm 40ish and I'm the proud mother of 3 boys and
the wife of a very wonderful husband.
Along with making and selling candles at a craft mall and website, I work full time as an Office Manager for a medical office.
I return all emails, I can't promise how long it will take me, but it will be returned within 24 hrs.
If you don't get a reply within 24 hrs, please contact me again, sometimes emails get lost in cyber space and spam filters.
Flickers Fragrances is a home based business and I only have ONE employee.....me! :)
I do not have a store front, but local orders may be picked up at my home. Let me know when
you'd like to pick it up and I'll have it ready and waiting for you.
I do not charge additional processing or shipping fees, shipping charges are high enough without adding additional charges on top of it.
I am closed on all Federal Holidays and weekends. The website is open 24 - 7 for your shopping convenience.
Indiana residents will be charged sales tax unless I receive your TAX ID number.
SHIPPING INFO:
My goal is to offer same day shipping, but while I still work full time outside of the business
I must implement a shipping schedule so that there will be no questions as to when your
order will ship.

Order on Monday or Tuesday, ships on Wednesday
Order on Wednesday or Thursday, ships on Friday
Order on Friday - Sunday, ships on Monday

This shipping schedule will hold true unless a holiday falls on a ship date, then I will try to ship the next day after the holiday.
*** This schedule may be altered when I have a huge sale (example: Free Shipping or $4 - 4oz, or $1 - 1oz sales), I get bombarded by orders
when I have these types of sales. Please be patient and mindful that I do work full time outside of this business and I get up every day at 4am to pack
orders before I leave for work and again after I get home ***
You will receive a copy, via email, of your invoice which will have your Fed Ex tracking number on it. Please make sure that I will not end up in your spam folder.
I send the invoices through Quickbooks so you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader to open it.
You should also receive a shipping notice from Fed Ex when they scan your box.
If you have a RUSH order, please indicate that in the Comments Section during check out.
I will NOT charge a RUSH ORDER FEE.
** We just added USPS Parcel (ground) with insurance as an option for shipping.

CREDIT CARD INFO:
The name and address on the credit card must match the name and address on the account. If anything is different
the credit card will decline. Please indicate if anything is different from the billing info on your order versus the billing info
on your credit card. I do not keep credit card numbers on file so you will have to enter the credit card number each time you order.
FRAGRANCE OIL INFO:
All oils are sold by weight not volume, fill levels will be different for each oil.
TERMS INFO:
I do not offer "ship now, pay later".
All orders must be paid for in full before I will ship your order. If you pay by echeck through
Paypal, all funds must clear before your order is shipped. If your credit card declines, I will email you to let you know.
I no longer accept personal checks or money orders. Visa, Mastercard, Paypal are accepted.
RETURNS INFO:
I do not accept returns on any of our products due to contamination. Please order samples if you're not sure.
ADD ON ORDERS:
If you email me the SAME DAY that you place your order, I will add it on.
There may be additional shipping charges so be aware that you may have additional payment due.
PREBUY OILS:
Weekly discounts, specials or free shipping offers do not apply to
any prebuy that I offer. Oils are discounted on all prebuys and customer pays for shipping.
WEEKLY SPECIALS / DISCOUNTS:
I post special discounts on several candle groups, only ONE discount may be used per order.
When the discount expires, it's expired. I will not accept discounts after expiration time, no exceptions.
Make sure you add the special discount code in the VOUCHER box (and press the recalculate button) and not
in the COMMENT box. The discount will not work if you add it in the COMMENT box and you will not
receive the discount. Sampler packs are not included in discounts, these are already marked down.
PAYMENT OPTIONS:
I accept Paypal, Visa or Mastercard
DAMAGED GOODS:
If you have received damaged goods refuse your shipment.
If it arrived while you were away contact FED EX immediately. Please email us your claim number after filing the claim with Fed Ex
Proof of damage must be made to FED EX, so it is important that all original
packaging materials are present. Call 1-800-GO-FEDEX
NEW OILS:
We want what our customers want. Let us know if you are looking for a particular scent
and we will do our best to find it for you.
CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellations of orders on your part will result in a $25.00 restocking fee, no exceptions.
PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Your customer information is private and we respect your privacy. We do not share any information with anyone.
TESTING INFO:
I test all oils first in CBL125 container wax using a 51 zinc wick, if it works for me then I send it to my soaper (if it's skin safe) to test in CP Soap. I also send a sample to my gal who tests
in 100% soy. The results posted on the website are from our wax/wick/oil amount combination you will need to test on your own, I recommend buying a sampler pack first.
I do not claim that all oils will work for all wax/wick types, and I do not claim that all oils will work in all bath and body recipes or M&P Soap. YOU will need to test in your own products.
I also use the Penreco testing guidelines for gel testing. All customers using fragrance oils for gel creations will need to do testing of their own to make sure the oil is safe for gel products.
Here is what Penreco recommends as testing instructions, which is what I go by: I use 1 tablespoon of fragrance oil and 3 tablespoons of mineral oil. Stir for 1 minute, if the mixture is cloudy or if it separates then your fragrance oil isn't safe for gel.
If it isn't cloudy and it doesn't separate then let it set for 30 minutes. If no separation occurs after 30 minutes then continue.
Second step is to use 3 tablespoons of fragrance oil and 1 tablespoon of mineral oil. Stir for 1 minute look for cloudiness or separation. If none occurs, then let it set for 30 minutes.
If after 30 minutes all looks clear and no separation, then your oil is safe for gel. **Note: you may substitue tablespoons for teaspoons and all fragrance oils must have a flash point of 170 or higher **
